It is normal when you are at a crossroads, and not to understand your feelings. You need to feel safe before you can make a decision. More importantly, you need clarity on what you need so can make the best decision for yourself.

Sometimes, we hold tightly to something familiar: an identity, a relationship, belief, or routine, even if it no longer aligns.

This is not about weakness. It’s about safety. Not knowing what’s next makes it hard to commit, even if you’re uncomfortable now. Your nervous system may be stuck in freeze, waiting for a sense of direction or reassurance that never fully comes.

Oftentimes, indecision is rooted in self-doubt. You may not trust your inner resources, fear being wrong, or worry what others will think. Your inner critic is louder than your inner guide right now, but that can shift.

You need support to gently release attachment, grieve the old, and to remember what you’re capable of. Interventions such as Polyvagal and Eco-therapy techniques are helpful for this.
