🌟 Venus Star Gate Meditation: Centering in Love When Others Feel Hard to Hold
How to use the meditation. We all come across difficult people in our lives. It doesn’t mean you attract them, it just means you need to protect your energy. I welcome you to try this meditation to get ready to be around a difficult person, or at the beginning of your day if you don’t know you will run into someone who is stressed and anxious and can affect your energy. This is especially helpful for those with a lot of 12th house planets, Pisces energy, or a Balsamic Moon placement.
Settle In
Find a comfortable seat or lie down. Let your eyes gently close. Take a slow breath in... and out.
Let the outer world fall away as you turn toward your inner light.
You are safe here. You are sovereign here.
Visualize the Star Gate
Imagine a glowing, radiant 5-pointed star in front of your heart.
This is the Venus Star Gate, a portal of beauty, clarity, and deep inner wisdom.
Each point of the star holds a question, a mirror, a moment of reflection.
You may imagine it rotating slowly, pulsing gently with a golden-pink light.
🌟 Point One: What Am I Thinking?
Gently bring to mind the difficult person or situation.
Without judgment, ask yourself:
What thoughts arise when I’m with them?
Let the thoughts float into awareness like clouds in a vast sky.
Witness them. You don’t need to change them. Just acknowledge what’s there.
Breathe in clarity. Breathe out confusion.
🌟 Point Two: What Am I Giving?
Now, notice your energy.
Ask: What am I offering in this exchange? Is it my attention, my peace, my power?
Am I giving from love or from fear? Obligation or truth?
Breathe in discernment. Breathe out overgiving.
🌟 Point Three: What Am I Receiving?
Bring attention to your body.
What am I receiving when I’m around them?
Notice sensations, tone of voice, unspoken messages.
How does it land in your heart?
Breathe in awareness. Breathe out what doesn’t belong to you.
🌟 Point Four: What Grounds Me?
Imagine roots growing from your body into the Earth.
Ask: What helps me return to myself?
It could be a word, an image, your breath, or a deeper truth.
Let it anchor you now.
Breathe in grounding. Breathe out chaos.
🌟 Point Five: What Does Love Want to Do Here?
From the center of your Venus star, ask:
What would love do, not to fix or control, but to guide me through this?
Let the answer rise gently.
It may not be action, it may be silence, space, or a boundary.
Breathe in compassion. Breathe out clarity.
Close the Gate
See the star slowly dissolving into your heart, becoming part of you.
You are aligned with your values, your worth, your Venus.
Take a final breath, and when you’re ready, return to the room.
As a bonus, you can reach out to me: ventureoutherapy@gmail.com, and I will let you know what your Venus Star is so you can focus on themes, which are personal to your natal chart, when thinking of the head, hands, feet, heart. (Put “Venus Star Meditation” in the subject).
